Fragile Intangibilities

In collaboration with Project for Empty Space and artist Daphne Arthur, I designed the layout for an art book accompanying her exhibition Fragile Intangibilities. The book features a curated selection of images from the exhibition, along with written contributions by Ayokunle Falomo, Tobias Wray, and Claudia E. Zapata. To visually echo the exhibition’s themes and materials, we incorporated hand-painted silk organza inserts that separate different sections of the book, creating a layered, tactile reading experience. The layout was carefully crafted to reflect the translucent, ethereal quality of Arthur’s work, resulting in a publication that functions as both a catalog and an extension of the exhibition itself.
